Set up email on iPhone

Tech Support

Step 1. Go to Settings on the iPhone.

Step 2. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars. (This may appear as just Mail)

Step 3. Select Add Account.

Step 4. Choose Other from the options.

Step 5. Choose Add Mail Account.

Step 6. Type your Name e.g John Smith.

Step 7. Type your FULL Email Address in the Address box i.e johnsmith@yourdomainname.co.uk

Step 8. Type the Password for this email address. (provided in your welcome letter)

Step 9. Type a Description of your choice like johnsmith@yourdomainname.co.uk

Enter Account Information

Step 10. Choose the POP option.

Step 11. Enter the information below into the relevant areas:
Incoming Mail Server / Outgoing Mail Server (Settings are the same for both servers)

Configure Server Settings

  • Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.co.uk
  • Username: This is your FULL email address.
  • Password: (provided in your welcome letter)

Step 12. Click SAVE
If a error message appears, choose details.

Click Save

Step 13. Select Trust, to complete the the set up. You should now be able to send and receive emails from your phone!

Step 14. Please ensure SSL is turned off, this can be found in the advanced email settings.
