We were very grateful that all our staff managed to arrive at work despite the snow, however, our boiler decided to break down! Despite various new parts being fitted, it refused to spring into action and our office was freezing. For the next four days our staff continued to work, dressed like Eskimos (hat, scarves, coats, gloves) teeth chattering & toes and fingers freezing! Some even resorted to “wearing” hot water bottles!
We are proud to say that our customers were of paramount importance to our employees and all services continued to be provided – websites don’t feel the cold! Needless to say, everyone was very relieved when our new boiler was fitted. We nearly had to resort to cracking open a bottle of bubbly – but not quite! |
