You can create a new folder from the menu with File -> Folder -> New; you could name them Arch[year][month] e.g. Arch0511 for November 2005. You can move mail from your Inbox to another folder by selecting the mail, right-click, and select Move to Folder from the pop-up menu. To select several pieces of mail at once, select the first, then scroll to the last and hold down Shift while you click on the last. An alternative is to select the first and hold down Shift while you use the down arrow key to select the next ones.
